“Understanding Cancer, Building a Healthier Future.”

Cancer has become one of the most alarming public health challenges of our time, affecting millions of lives worldwide. In Pakistan, the lack of early detection, awareness, and healthcare facilities has intensified the crisis, especially in under-resourced areas. Recognizing this urgent need, Care & Hope Platform Pakistan (CHP) has launched a comprehensive 5-phase Cancer Research Project, starting from District Karak.

This initiative not only aims to understand the rising trends of cancer but also to provide long-term solutions, including improved healthcare facilities, awareness campaigns, and ultimately, the establishment of a modern Oncology Unit in Karak.

🔬 Project Phases – A Step Towards Hope

The project titled “Rising Trends of Cancer” will be conducted in the following five stages:

1️⃣ District Karak – Initial research and data collection.
2️⃣ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) – Expansion to provincial level.
3️⃣ Pakistan (National Level) – Comprehensive nationwide research.
4️⃣ South Asia (Regional Level) – Identifying regional similarities and differences.
5️⃣ Gulf Countries (Comparative Research) – Comparative analysis to identify global patterns.

This phased approach ensures that the project remains systematic, scalable, and impactful.

📍 Key Focus of Phase 1 (District Karak)

The first stage in Karak will focus on answering crucial questions such as:

• What are the primary causes behind the rise of cancer?
• Which types of cancer are most common in the region?
• What is the current health condition of patients?
• What is the actual number of cancer patients?
• What facilities are available today, and what is still missing?

The ultimate goal of this research is not limited to data collection. Once the study is complete, CHP will:

• Address the findings step by step.
• Work towards establishing a modern Oncology Unit in Karak.
• Provide full treatment facilities, supportive care, and counseling.
• Launch awareness programs to help people detect cancer at early stages.

This will mark a transformative step for healthcare in Karak, setting an example for other districts and provinces in Pakistan.
